my technique I source vintage fabric & wallpapers or use my own prints as a base, then transfer the chosen design to paper which gives a cleaner finish when put on canvas. I then mix the required colour with acrylics (usually picking out a shade from the print I have chosen) and paint the canvas, cut the paper to the shape needed & seal it to the canvas once the paint has dried which gives a soft sheen to the picture. To add texture & individuality I then intricately bead each picture by hand. |
